What is PressReader?
PressReader provides access to the content of thousands of selected magazines
and newspapers from around the world in more than sixty languages. You will find
magazines focusing on topics across a range of interests: technology, fashion,
food, health, travel, sport, design, photography, animals and more. At
pressReader you can also read foreign newspapers such as The Washington Post,
The Daily Mirror, The Daily Telegraph and The Guardian.
You will get access the contents of the PressReader database from three
service points in the Central Library. There is no need to log in to the
database. Just sit down at the table and start browsing through the list of
newspapers and magazines. You can search either by the language in which the
newspaper is written, by the country in which it was published, or by topic
(politics, art, travel, etc.).
You can download the selected magazine issue to your mobile phone and read it
at home. Download the Free PressReader app to your device. Then come to the
Central Library, join our wi-fi and download any number of magazines.
