From Monday 27 July to Sunday 9 August 2026, all branches of the Municipal Library of Prague will be closed.
During the summer closure, all of our branches will be closed from Monday, July 27, through Sunday, August 9, 2026. The self-service kiosks will remain open throughout the summer. Velký Mlýn, on the other hand, will be open from July 27 through August 9, 2026.
Where can you return books during the closure?
You can return books even while we are closed. During the summer holiday closure, you can use the return boxes at the Jezerka, Lužiny, Opatov and Petřiny branches, or return books at the Central Library.
Tip! Throughout the closure, the CČM Kiosk in Centrum Černý Most, the DBK Kiosk at Budějovická, Chodov Kiosk in the Westfield Chodov Center and the Velký Mlýn branch will be operating in self-service mode.
