Počátek / The Beginning

Mya San Kyi, bohatá dcera významného podnikatele, je proti své vůli donucena ke sňatku s divadelním umělcem Soe Tintem, přestože miluje malíře Nyo Maunga. S nuceným sňatkem se nikdy nesmíří. Ke svému manželovi cítí stále větší odpor a postupně se odcizí i své dceři Hnin Si. Po letech znovu naváže tajný vztah se svou dávnou láskou, který však skončí tragicky – Mya San Kyi umírá. Krátce nato zemře také Soe Tint i další členové rodiny a Hnin Si zůstává sama v domě, o němž se říká, že je prokletý. Vyšetřování postupně odhalí, že v domě stále přebývá pomstychtivý duch Mya San Kyi, který ohrožuje i vlastní dceru. Hnin Si se rozhodne přerušit pouta s minulostí své rodiny. Překoná temnou minulost, přijme jméno Mya Hnin Si a vybuduje si úspěšnou kariéru herečky. Příběh se věnuje tématům nuceného manželství, zrady, pomsty a ničivé síly nenávisti, která dokáže poznamenat celé generace.

Mya San Kyi, the wealthy daughter of a businessman, is forced to marry the theatre artist Soe Tint despite loving the painter Nyo Maung. Unable to accept her marriage, she grows to hate her husband and neglects their daughter, Hnin Si. Years later, she secretly reunites with her former lover, but the affair leads to tragedy, ending in her death. Soon after, Soe Tint and other family members also die, leaving Hnin Si orphaned in a house rumored to be haunted. As investigators uncover the truth, they discover that Mya San Kyi’s vengeful spirit still haunts the house and threatens her own daughter. Determined to escape her family’s painful legacy, Hnin Si overcomes the darkness, takes the name Mya Hnin Si, and becomes a successful actress. The story explores forced marriage, betrayal, revenge, and the lasting impact of hatred across generations.
