Buddhistický mnich Shin Wunnathiri se seznámí s velmi energickou a hluboce věřící mladou ženou Pyae Sone Khin, která se stane jeho hlavní laickou podporovatelkou. Lidé však začnou jejich až příliš častý a důvěrný vztah kvůli jejímu mládí a přílišné blízkosti kritizovat, a tak mladý mnich přeruší studium Pariyatti, začne se ženě vyhýbat a odejde do džungle jako poustevník. Dívka, trýzněná pocitem viny, že svým jednáním zapříčinila odchod výjimečného mnicha, smutkem zemře, ale znovu se zrodí jako zvíře a v této podobě dále pokračuje v oddané péči o mnicha. ilm je založen na skutečném příběhu.

The Attachement; Obsession

The Buddhist novice, Shin Wunnathiri made the daring denunciation, sacrificed his own mother to become a Buddhist monk, which he treasured more than his family life. Pyae Sone Khin, a highly energetic and deeply religious young lady met the young monk and became his chief lay-supporter. Due to her strong conviction, she over-did her support innocently. Because of her young age and closeness, it was dispraised by the surroundings that the young monk dropped his Pariyatti studies, and avoided his lay-supporter and retire to the jungle as a recluse. His lay-supporter, feeling that she had made an outstanding monk leave his studies, died with remorse, reincarnated as an animal and continued to look after the monk. What happen between the young monk and his animal-turned supporter has to be seen on the screen.The movie is based on a true life happening, wonderfully directed by Ban Gyi, one of the most respected creator of serious drama in video world.
